REASON RELOADED VOLUME 1 - CLUB SYNTHS
This refill contains 120 Combinator patches of Bass, Lead and Poly Synth sounds. Samples have been taken some of the best hard and soft synths. In total there is 169MB of samples*.
As well as the Bass, Lead and Polysynth patches, there is also a type of patch called mXG. mXG stands for Matrix Gate. These combinator patches use a Matrix Pattern Sequencer to control Volume or Filter levels of the patch. In some patches there are 2 Matrix devices, one to control volume, the other to control the filter.
There are mXG Bass, mXG Lead and mXG Poly Patches. These patches are great for trance riffs or techno basslines. As you hold down a key (or keys) a filter pattern will play on some patches, in others the volume will rise and fall in sync with the tempo.
Many of the patches use the MOD WHEEL to contol the filter, these patches have the letters MW in their name. Also, patches which require you to run them (such at the mXG patches) have the word RUN in their name.
All patches make use of new skins, of which there are 42! Each skin contains wording in the top-right to indicate what type of patch it is - Bass Synth, Lead Synth, Poly Synth, mXG-Bass, mXG-Lead, and mXG Poly. When the device is collapsed the type of device will still be visible - see screen shot on the left.
