Q - How are the soundbanks delivered and how long does it take?

A - All items are sold as Instant Digital Downloads. Get your item within minutes of making payment. After making payment a screen will appear asking if you want to download and save your item. If you decline then you need to check your email account. An email containing a download link will be sent to your email address. The email will be sent to the email address which is registered to your PayPal account.

The email you are looking for will be from VST PATCHES. Please check your spam/junk folder if you can't see it in your inbox.

Q - Do you sell the products on CD or DVD?

A - No - All items are sold as download only.

Q - Do you sell any VST Instruments or software?

A - No. I only sell the sounds for the instruments or sounds for a certain application, such as Reason. You need to own the instruments or compatible application to use my products.

Q - What is the file size of the soundbank and do I need a Broadband/Cable connection?

A - Non-sample based banks tend to be very small - typically 40-60kb. Non-sample based banks are those such as for the V-Station, FM7, Albino 2 etc. Sample-based banks or Reason Refills can be anything from 40MB up to several hundred MB. To purchase these you will need a Broadband/Cable internet connection. These items have the file size listed with the product description. If there is no file size listed (again for items such as V-Station, FM7 etc) then the file size is only small (in KB) and can be downloaded even with a dial-up connection. If in doubt, please contact me.

Q - I don't have a debit or credit card, do you accept cash or cheques?

A - I no longer accept cheques or postal orders. However, if you really can't pay with a Debit or Credit card using PayPal, please contact me and I will see what I can do. Please note that I make NO charge for customers to use PayPal.

Q - Why Paypal?

A - Because its quick, safe and easy to use.

Q - I have seen your sounds for sale on eBay, what is the difference between buying from this site or from eBay?

A - No difference at all. I use eBay to help sales and to promote this site. eBay is good because you can check my feedback for the sounds I have sold. My eBay username is synthprogrammer, my ebay shop is here

Q - I haven't received my sounds and I paid using PayPal. Why?

A - Did you pay using a PayPal eCheque? If so then it can take between 3 to 10 days for the payment to clear into my account. As soon as the payment clears an automatic link will be sent to your email address. The email will be sent to the email address which is registered to your PayPal account.

You should have received an email from myself with this information in it. If you didn't pay with an eCheque, and made an instant payment, please check your spam/junk folder to see if the email has been sent there. If not, please contact me.

Q - I wish to use the sounds in a track that I plan to release/sell. Do I have to pay you or credit you?

A - You are free to use the sounds in any private or commercial recording without further payment or credit to myself or this site. If you wish to credit me or this site though, please feel free to do so! When you purchase a soundbank from VST-PATCHES, you are buying a single-user license which allows you to use the sounds in any recording you make. The actual copyright of the sounds is the property of myself, RK Burr and of VST-PATCHES.COM If you run a studio, or are a Producer, you can use the Soundbank or Sample CD on any client whose work you produce. What you are NOT allowed to do is to sell, duplicate or distrubute the sounds over the internet or by any other means. Also you are not allowed to pass the sounds off as your own. You ARE allowed to make backup copies for yourself, and I would advise you to do so as any digital format can, over time, become corrupt and therefore unreadable.
